Linear Power Supplies
Intelligent Flight's highly filtered linear power supply is capable of powering the OSD, GPS unit and 5v camera, or other devices. The linear regulator is designed for applications which need ultra low noise.
Power loss must be under 2W without a heat sink mounted, a little bit more is possible if it is wind cooled. Two 3.5mm holes on either side of the regulator make it easy to mount to a proper heat sink to allow up to 10 watts of power loss.
To calculate your output loss
(voltage in - voltage out) / Amps = Watts,
for example: (12v - 5v) / 0.2A = 1.4Watts, so this will work fine without a heat sink.
Please select from the options if you want output of 5v, 9v, or 12v. Only 5v output may be used with the OSD unit. Input voltages must be greater than output.

You can draw more power if you use heat sinks bolted on to the supplied holes. Maximum loss without cooling is 1.5Watts.
